We are assisting in recruiting for a MET Technician at their Kettering location. Both qualified and unqualified candidates will be considered if experience is from a very similar position/background. You will be re-assembling and dismantling damaged vehicles in line with repair estimates.
Duties as a MET Technician:
- Ensuring vehicle stripping and rebuilding is carried out successfully
- Performing quality checks
- Following suitable methods
- Providing supervision to other colleagues
- Meeting estimated timeframes
- Advising on any additional work required
- Ordering suitable parts to perform the repairs
- Liaising with other internal departments
- Meeting customer satisfaction standards
- Following health and safety regulations and company policies
- General ad-hoc duties relevant to the post
Skills: - Experience in a MET Technician position
- Qualified in Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) or qualified by experience
- Excellent communication skills on all levels
- Strong organisational skills
- A natural relationship building ability
- The ability to multi-task and act quickly
- A good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
To be successful as a MET Technician you will be proactive, with a keen eye for detail and able to prioritise tasks. In return you will receive a salary between £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus performance bonus with potential earnings taking you up to £55,000, working Monday-Friday.
