About the job 

The Project Scheduler will be responsible for progressing customer order to finalised project schedules and agreed pricing and for the internal handover of fully detailed information from which projects can be manufactured efficiently. Part of the Customer Experience Team, you will work closely with the Account Coordinator and Sales Estimator to ensure that accurate and compliant production information is produced in a timely manner. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce comprehensive project schedules and manage the timely delivery of information flow to colleagues and the customer
  • Liaise with the customer to confirm project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Inform and guide the customer through their options to facilitate the timely close out of requests for information (RFI?s)
  • Develop accurate production packs, including schedules and fabrication drawings
  • Proactively take ownership of the customer and work schedules following the introduction and handover meeting with the Sales Estimator 
  • Attend virtual and/or on-site meetings with the customer and external stake holders 
  • Coordinate with other suppliers on projects to ensure accurate, compliant works are produced
  • Submit schedule and drawing packs to customers for approval
  • Work with the Sales Estimator to produce remeasures in a timely manner
  • Schedule and close out variations/addendums in a timely  
  • Coordinate face to face handover meetings with purchasing and production colleagues
  • Retain, upload and file all documents related to projects in the prescribed central locations
  • Act as the point of contact for the project during design for all internal/external stakeholders
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by the Commercial Director
