Exceptional History Teacher Wanted!
Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for an enthusiastic History Teacher for an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in the Maidstone area. The role is a January start and will be until the end of the academic year with the view of extending beyond! The role will be full time with a salary of between £31,650 and £49,084 depending on experience.
The role:
- Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
- Foster a deep appreciation for History and its relevance to the modern world
- Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a History Teacher across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent behaviour management
- Strong communication skills
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
