Finance Analyst

Overview
Located in South Birmingham, our well-known client is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their collaborative Commercial team. This role offers a chance to explore and understand the wider business within a major organisation.

As part of the team, you'll work closely with operational and commercial finance departments. Reporting directly to the Commercial FC, you'll play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing operational performance. This will involve analysing large data sets, producing P&Ls, and creating financial reports to drive transparency and informed decision-making.

Skills required

• A results-driven individual with high energy, capable of challenging current processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Experience in producing month-end reports and a solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping is preferred.
• Familiarity with managing large data sets is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables; experience creating macros is a bonus.
