Maths Teacher

Overview:
Equitas are seeking a committed full-time Maths/PSHCE Teacher. The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons in Maths and PSHCE, following pre-planned curriculums, and overseeing the marking and assessment of students’ work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Maths and PSHCE, ensuring alignment with the provided curriculum.
• Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support academic progress.
• Deliver general cover lessons for other subjects, ensuring continuity in students’ learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to support the broader needs of the school.
• Use allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time effectively to meet role objectives and manage workload.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths and/or PSHCE is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle a varied workload effectively.
