About Us:

We are recruiting for a successful electrical contractor with 29 years of experience, specialising in the electrical design and fit-out of large-scale commercial premises. As they continue to grow, they are looking to expand their in-house drawing team and are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Drawing Technician to join them.

Role Overview:

As a Drawing Technician, you will work closely with project teams and clients to follow the BIM execution plan. Reporting directly to the BIM Manager, you will be integral in producing high-quality electrical drawings and contributing to their ongoing BIM projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce electrical drawings from architect’s plans using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services.
• Assist in delivering BIM projects.
• Review and work with the BIM model using Revit.

The Technology We Use:

• Autodesk Revit
• Navisworks Manage
• Revit Server / BIM 360
• AutoCAD 2025

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for an individual who is highly skilled in using AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electrical drawing and BIM drawing offices, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience in electrical drawing (preferable).
• Previous experience in a BIM drawing office environment is an advantage.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working under pressure and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
