Are you a passionate and engaging History Teacher looking for a long-term opportunity starting in January? Aspire People are seeking a dedicated History Supply Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in North Manchester.
The Role:
As a History Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring a love for the subject and ensuring positive student outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and creative History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Differentiating lessons to cater to the needs and abilities of all learners.
* Managing behaviour effectively to create a positive and focused classroom environment.
* Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency across the department.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 in a UK secondary school.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* A passion for History and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for the subject.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
