VAT Accountant

A well-established music merchandise company is seeking a VAT Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team!

• Managing VAT compliance across 23 countries where the company is VAT-registered.
• Preparing data for VAT returns, Intrastat reporting, and EC Sales Lists.
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Managing EC Sales and Acquisitions Lists and Intrastat reporting.
• Tracking stock movements to ensure accurate reporting.
• Coordinating with external VAT providers for submission processes.
• Ensuring timely VAT-related payments.
• Supporting tax audits and handling VAT-related queries.
• Assisting with VAT registrations.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the VAT function.

• Experience in Music/Touring or EU VAT Reporting is a MUST
• Previous work experience in a similar role within the music or entertainment industry is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams.
• Enthusiastic and eager to develop, with a willingness to adapt to the ever-evolving VAT landscape, including compliance, controllership, advisory, and technology.
