Head of Accounting

Halliday Marx have partnered with a very fast moving, high growth Financial Services company to hire a Head of Accounting on a 12 Month Contract basis.

The role, is to start as soon as possible and will offer Hybrid working in London but need the successful candidate to work in Leeds for 1 week a month.

The role:

Full Month end close

Post acquisition integration projects

Strategic projects

Managing a team of approx. 14 (3 direct).

Support Audit

Continuous process improvements striving for efficiency

Insightful performance analysis v past forecasts and periods

You will have / be:

ACA Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)

Strong team management experience

A good ability to multi task and catch and run with multiple projects

IFRS 9 knowledge would be beneficial

Financial Services background would be beneficial
