National Revenues Manager
Due to rapid and continued growth, we are looking for a National Revenues Manager to join our Enforcement Operations team. Within this role, you will spearhead the development and management of an employed workforce model within the enforcement industry, focusing on Council Tax, High Court enforcement, and National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR).
You will create a comprehensive workforce strategy, including apprenticeship programs and a structured grading system, to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Additionally, the you will design incentive schemes and implement robust management practices to drive success.
What you’ll be doing:
- Workforce Development & Expansion – design and implement a scalable workforce model to support enforcement operations, develop and maintain a workforce grading structure and establish an apprenticeship program to attract and retain new talent.
- Performance & Incentive Management – create and implement incentive structures that reward performance while aligning with business objectives. Develop and manage KPIs to drive accountability and success, while providing ongoing support and training to managers/team leaders to foster a culture of high performance.
- Operational Excellence – ensure all workforce operations comply with legal, regulatory and industry standards, while utilising key data and performance metrics to monitor performance and identify trends to continuously improve.
- Recruitment & Retention – develop recruitment and retention strategies, including recognition and career development programs, ensuring alignment with organisational values and objectives.
- Leadership & Collaboration – build strong and trusting relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal departments and act as a key advisor to the Managing Director and Divisional Enforcement Directors on workforce strategy, as well as opportunities for improvement and growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the enforcement or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Council Tax, NNDR, and High Court enforcement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and scale workforces, including managing grading systems and apprenticeships.
- Expertise in designing performance-driven incentive structures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decision-making.
- Thorough understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in implementing apprenticeship programs and workforce development strategies.
- Familiarity with technological tools and systems used in enforcement operations.
