As the Nursery Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nursery. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of care and education, and fostering a positive environment for children, staff, and parents alike.

Key responsibilities as the Nursery Branch Manager
- Oversee the daily management and operation of the nursery, ensuring a safe,
- stimulating, and caring environment.
- Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver exceptional early years education and care.
- Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and professional development.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that supports teamwork, collaboration, and staff wellbeing.
- Plan, implement, and monitor a high-quality curriculum aligned with the Early Years
- Foundation Stage (EYFS) or relevant local frameworks.
- Ensure activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and tailored to meet individual learning
- and developmental needs.
- Promote inclusive practices and support children with diverse needs.
- Build strong relationships with children and ensure their progress is regularly assessed and recorded.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety,
- safeguarding, and local childcare standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement policies to maintain a secure
- environment for children and staff.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, including child records, incident logs,
- and attendance registers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular
- communication and updates on their child’s progress.
- Address parental inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and empathetically.
- Organise and participate in parent events, workshops, and meetings to foster
- community engagement.
- Manage nursery budgets and monitor expenses.
- Ensure adequate resourcing, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records and support with inspections and audits.
What can you bring to team?
- Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a
- related field (required).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of childcare regulations, EYFS, and
- safeguarding practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organisational and time-management skills.
- Passion for early childhood development and education.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- First Aid Certification (desirable).
- Experience in financial management or budgeting (desirable).
- Additional training or certifications in child development, SEN, or related areas (desirable).
