MOT TESTER
WORKING 40 HOURS PER WEEK ACROSS 5 DAYS (NOT SUNDAYS)
£32,000 - £38,000 PER ANNUM
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MOT Tester to join our well-established client based in Somerset on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties
• Carrying out inspections to judge vehicle road worthiness
• Following Ministry of Transport and DVSA test guidelines
• Fitting brakes and exhausts
• Fitting new tyres
• Replacing seatbelts
• Checking vehicle oil levels and filters
• Replacing cam belts and clutches
• Cleaning vehicle inspection bays
• Carrying out vehicle quality control checks
• Recording vehicle emission test results
• Scheduling annual MOT training sessions
• Maintaining personal MOT training logs
Essential Skills
• Must have a full Driving Licence with no more than nine points
• Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOT’s
