Academics are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Nursery Manager to join a wonderful nursery in Streatham. About the Role: Nursery Manager - Streatham

As Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in both the operational and educational aspects of the nursery. The role will be a mix of office-based responsibilities and time spent working directly within the nursery setting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing a team of staff, ensuring the nursery is compliant with all regulations, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities: Nursery Manager - Streatham

  • Manage and lead the nursery team, ensuring high-quality care and education is provided at all times.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, budgets, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and maintain open communication channels.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities, monitoring children's progress and providing support where needed.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reports, and updates for stakeholders.

Requirements: Nursery Manager - Streatham

  • A recognised qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. Level 3 or above).
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role within a childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both in an office environment and within the nursery setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
