Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Teacher in a SEMH School in the East Riding of Yorkshire, starting January 6th, and lasting until at least February 2025. This is a temporary position covering a vacancy, and as such may increase in the future, or even become a permanent position. Payment for this position will be scaled on the main teaching pay scale, between M1 - M6. This works out as a daily rate between £162.31 and £223.62.

This role will involve teaching many different elements of the curriculum to students who cannot access the mainstream curriculum. Experience teaching or tutoring students who require additional support is ideal for this role, but having a calm and understanding demeanour is important for this role. You will be teaching Maths, English, Science and other subjects to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students. This school does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher.

Located a short drive away from Hull this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull on via the car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through one term of their ECT.

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching students who have been excluded from the mainstream school setting.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Legal right to work in the UK
