Project Manager
- Annual Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of water catchment management projects across Yorkshire, East Midlands, Lincolnshire, Greater Manchester, and surrounding areas. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, timely, and commercial management of projects, reporting directly to the Operations Manager and managing a team within the delivery department.
Day-to-day of the role: - Project Management: Oversee the management of projects and frameworks, including program management, risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans. Coordinate resources to maintain program schedules and support site teams through regular visits and audits.
- Project Administration/Reporting: Utilize our cloud-based sales and project management system to manage opportunities, project financials, and performance. Ensure timely invoicing and address issues promptly.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities, respond to enquiries, and capture variations in live projects. Communicate potential opportunities to the Business Development Manager.
- Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the Environment Agency, local authorities, and community groups.
- Training and Line Management: Manage training and development for staff, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Project Close-Out: Complete lessons learned reports for each project and assist in maintaining health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems in compliance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in water catchment or related environmental projects.
- Strong understanding of project and program management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and frameworks efficiently.
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Competence in using cloud-based project management systems.
- Ability to travel as needed for site visits and stakeholder meetings.
