Pupil Support Assistant

As a Pupil Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to individual pupils or small groups.
• Assisting with the implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCP)
• Supporting children with additional learning needs, ensuring they feel included and valued.
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

• Rate of pay Minimum rate GBP85.10 per day
• Hours 8:30 am 3.30pm : Mon Fri (term time only)

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Have previous experience in a similar role or a strong desire to work in education.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Hold a relevant qualification or are willing to undertake training.
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• DBS (clean and relevant) Can be obtained through Prospero Teaching
• Safeguarding certificate
