Join our innovative team as a Design Technician, where you will be instrumental in producing detailed fabrication drawings and generating bills of materials for new stage, seating, and other temporary structures. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail to ensure all designs and structures are quantified accurately.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Produce detailed fabrication drawings and bills of materials for staging, grandstands, and bespoke temporary structures.
  • Select appropriate materials based on structural specifications to ensure safety and durability.
  • Work proactively with project managers to realise design briefs and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients’ technical teams to refine designs and resolve technical issues.
  • Utilise computer-aided design software to develop and visualise design ideas.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of Health & Safety standards related to your role.
  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your actions.
  • Cooperate with the organisation’s policies and procedures to help comply with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Report immediately to your line manager any equipment defects or risks in the working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficient in using design software to create detailed designs and visualisations.
  • Experience in producing construction and fabrication drawings.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and clients.
