A college in Telford is seeking an A Level Religious Studies Lecturer to join their team. The role involves teaching across three days a week, starting in February. This position offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures in A Level Religious Studies.
• Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
• Stay updated with developments in the subject area and education sector.

• Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• A recognised Teaching Qualification.
• A qualification related to Religious Studies.
• Proven experience in teaching A Level Religious Studies is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
