A college in Derby is seeking a Physics Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis until the February half-term. This role involves teaching T Level Science and Level 3 Applied Science, focusing primarily on the Physics modules. The position includes 24 hours of teaching and 13 hours of administrative time per week.

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in T Level Science and Level 3 Applied Science, with a focus on Physics modules.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and overall performance.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
• Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a positive learning environment.

• Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• A recognised Teaching Qualification.
• Degree in a Science-related field, preferably with a strong focus on Physics.
• Proven experience in teaching Physics at a similar level is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject matter.
