Role Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns for personal and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
• Advising clients on tax payable and payment deadlines while identifying tax-saving opportunities
• Supporting managers and partners in tax planning projects to add value to clients’ businesses and individual wealth
• Liaising with clients to gather relevant information, ensuring attention to detail and proactive communication
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members
• Staying up-to-date with tax legislation and using support networks to handle complex queries
• Assisting with client advisory services, business planning, and report preparation

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

• Essential: ATT, ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified

Experience

• Essential: Proven experience managing tax portfolios within a practice environment
• Desirable: Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero

Critical Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
