My client, a forward-thinking consultancy in London, is seeking a capable and strategic Town Planning Director to oversee and direct a diverse portfolio of ongoing projects. The role involves managing key projects across renewables, residential, and mixed-use sectors, and driving their successful delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to take charge of an existing portfolio while shaping the direction of future projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct planning projects across renewables, residential, and mixed-use developments, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Manage and grow the company's existing project portfolio, providing strategic planning advice to clients and guiding project teams.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, reports, and related documentation.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with planning regulations and up-to-date knowledge of relevant policy changes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, local authorities, and at public consultations.

Key Requirements
- A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- A proactive approach to solving complex planning challenges and meeting deadlines.

Benefits
- Competitive salary with bonuses twice a year.
- Minimum of 2 days in the office per week (flexible, can come in more if preferred).

- Opportunity to participate in the company's share option scheme.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth and leadership.
