Learning Support Assistant - Lancaster:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join one of our schools in Lancaster. You will be supporting a small group of children with complex needs.

Position Details:

• Location: Lancaster
• Position: Learning Support Assistant
• Hours: 9am-3:15pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: 07/01/2025
• End date: Ongoing

EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
• Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
• Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
