My client is a leading law firm in Leamington Spa, recognised for its excellence in conveyancing and its commitment to staff development and career progression. The firm is currently looking for a New Business Assistant to join them in its thriving Conveyancing department. The firm promotes a supportive, collaborative work environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and providing real opportunities for growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys assisting clients during one of the most significant milestones of their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full administrative support to the Conveyancing department to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare correspondence and documentation using the firm’s case management system
  • Attend to clients professionally, both over the telephone and in person, ensuring their needs are met promptly
  • Administer filing systems, including daily filing tasks, and manage the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new business introducers, fostering trust and collaboration
  • Guide clients through the initial stages of their property transactions, ensuring a smooth and reassuring start to their journey
  • Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch and oversee the scanning and photocopying of documents
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support the department

You:

  • Strong organisational skills and a detail-oriented mindset to manage files and documentation accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a client-focused approach
  • Confidence in handling administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and preparing correspondence
  • Experience in an administrative, legal, or customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new case management systems quickly
  • A proactive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine interest in property law and client service
