Academics are seeking a passionate Primary SEN Support Assistant to join a supportive school environment in Bath. This is an exciting opportunity to help a child with SEN overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

As a Primary SEN Support Assistant, you'll provide tailored 1:1 support to a child, helping them access the curriculum and thrive academically and socially.

• Offer 1:1 support, adapting strategies to meet the child's specific needs.
• Assist with classroom activities, ensuring full participation in lessons.
• Implement Individual Education Plan (IEP) strategies in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the child's personal growth.
• Support social interactions, encouraging positive peer relationships.

• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in addressing individual needs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Prior experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential-comprehensive training provided.
• A commitment to nurturing and empowering children to succeed.
