Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies.
• Support and mentor Maths teachers, promoting professional development.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing interventions where necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience in a subject lead or similar leadership role is highly desirable.
• Experience working in SEMH, Pupil Referral Units (PRU), Alternative Provision, or with challenging behaviour is essential.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
