We are excited to be recruiting for a lovely company based in Southall, who are looking to expand their warehouse team! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress within their career and join a well established company!

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant handling, screening, and processing of freight for export operations. This role requires thorough attention to detail, devotion to regulatory requirements, and a proactive approach to managing varied freight types, including general freight, temperature-controlled, and dangerous goods

We are looking for someone who has experience in freight exports, who also has a forklift license, as well as someone has experience in Freight Xray!

Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Freight Booking and Handling
• Record all freight details
• Conduct internal security screening for Unknown Freight.
• Participate in x-ray screening
• Prepare necessary paperwork and follow restrictions for screening processes.
• Assemble temperature-controlled PODs according to instructions
• Monitor and action emails from multiple depots
• Book and handle goods
• Manage temperature controlled freight storage
• Record all freight details
