About the position of Internal Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

Our client is a multi-award-winning property lender based in West Hampstead, London, specialising in short-term property lending.
As an Internal Business Development Manager, you will be part of a high-performing team renowned for service excellence. Reporting directly to the Sales Director you will collaborate closely with the external sales team and the credit team to deliver exceptional service to brokers and clients.

Responsibilities for the role of Internal Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

  • Proactively follow up on indicative terms and Agreements in Principle (AIPs) with brokers and customers.
  • Assess and respond to enquiries received via telephone and online channels.
  • Provide accurate indicative terms or clearly outline reasons for declining a case.
  • Submit accurate AIP applications to the credit team for approval.
  • Package and submit new applications to the Credit Analyst team, ensuring all necessary documentation, including online ID, is provided.
  • Support the External Sales Team with enquiries, AIPs, and other matters arising while they are out of the office.
  • Assist the Credit Analyst team with valuation and solicitor quotes, seeking alternative/best quotes where necessary.
  • Source and engage with new brokers through outbound telephone calls.
  • Maintain and update data on the company's internal systems.
  • Undertake project and ad-hoc work as requested by management.

Experience and skills required for the role of Internal Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

  • Preferably a background in Financial Services with experience in a similar role.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Competent in using Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A degree is preferable but not essential.
