Our client, a dynamic and well-established organization, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing business and play a key role in supporting their finance function. This role is being recruited initially on a temporary basis, but there is the possibility for the role to become permanent in the future.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties
- Raise internal invoices, liaise with internal stakeholders, reconcile monthly statements, and manage customer accounts in Sage.
- Process purchase invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and manage Barclaycard statement imports.
- Set up employees on Sage and WAP, and manage new nominal codes.
- Run reports, assist with analysis, and support the Finance Manager and Business Partner with various tasks.
- Take ownership of the fixed asset register and related journal postings once established.
As the successful candidate, you will have the following set of skills/attributes:
- Experience with Sage and financial reconciliation.
- Experience working in a similar level role and keen to progress further
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
