Description

• Procure goods and materials necessary to meet production requirements.
• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers.
• Coordinate with production and sales to anticipate demand.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Provide regular reports on procurement activities and achievements.

Profile

A successful Buyer should have:

• A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Ideally CIPS qualified
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software.
