Butler Rose, public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent, well known mid-size Leicester accountancy practice ranked in the top-60 that are eager to appoint a skilled Personal Tax Semi-Senior to complement the existing tax department.

Role Requirements -

• Providing an efficient, client focussed and proactive service to meet the needs of private clients.
• To liaise proactively with clients on advisory matters.
• Working with directors and managers on technical assignments.
• Managing day to day client portfolio including billing and monitoring work in progress.
• Ensuring that the firm's risks are managed appropriately.
• Liaising with HMRC in relation to client matters and dealing with enquiries from HMRC.
• To meet new clients with the appropriate partner/director and be a main point of contact with those clients going forward.
• Preparing personal and partnership tax returns.
• To review personal and partnership tax returns prepared by more junior members of staff / prepare complex compliance cases.

Person Requirements -

• Ideally ATT studying or qualified.
• Current experience of private client/personal tax working for a reputable accounting firm.
• Highly proficient in carrying out tax compliance as well as proving tax advisory services to clients.
