This is an exciting opportunity to join a school where the number of SEN students is higher than the national average and where every child is given the tools and support to thrive.

Why Join This School?

  • Catered Support: Classrooms and interventions are tailored to meet the specific needs of SEN students.
  • Dedicated Spaces: Intervention and wellbeing rooms provide additional support and a calm environment for students.

  • Focus on Wellbeing: A nurturing environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support students in their learning and personal development.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
  • Use the school's specialised intervention rooms and wellbeing resources to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, contributing to the school's close-knit community.
  • Promote resilience, independence, and confidence in students by adapting teaching strategies to meet their needs.

What We're Looking For:

  • A determined and energetic individual with a passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
  • A positive, proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

What We Offer:

  • A full-time, long-term role in a school that values its staff and celebrates diversity.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • The chance to work in a school that prioritises wellbeing and innovative support for SEN students.
  • A supportive team that shares your commitment to making a difference.

If you're ready to bring your determination and energy to a school where every child is supported to achieve their full potential, we'd love to hear from you!
