Mechanical Production Operative

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Production Operative

The role involves mechanical assembly - using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes - packing and general housekeeping of the production area.

Location: Rochester

Hours: 40 per week

8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Rate: starting from £12.00 ph PAYE, weekly pay

Please note due to our Clients location candidates will need to have their own transport or live within a 20 minute walk of Laker Road, Rochester.

As Mechanical Production Operative you will work within a small production team on a production line cutting and assembling equipment (no experience of assembling is required but candidates will need experience of using hand tools - saws etc).

Suitable Bench Assembler candidates will need to possess excellent hand to eye coordination and be physically fit as the job is standing all day with some heavy lifting involved.

Having your own STC boots or shoes is essential.
