Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform strategic decisions.
  • Managing daily financial operations, including cash flow, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading and mentoring the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitoring expenditures and implementing cost-control measures to maximise profitability.
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrable experience in financial management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
  • A results-oriented approach and meticulous attention to detail.
