I am delighted to be supporting a local authority in their search for a temporary to permanent Credit Control role, this is an ideal role for an experienced Credit Controller available on short notice.

Client Details

My client is a local authority based in Birmingham, they can offer the successful candidate excellent hybrid working with 3 days working from home; an inclusive, supporting working environment.

Description

• Support the Credit Control Manager and wider team with overdue debts
• Deal with queries
• Ensure all statements are issued in accordance with SLA
• Assist with the preparation of files to third parties when unsuccessful in obtaining payment
• Assist with the cash posting
• Any ad hoc duties as required

Profile

• Be available on short notice
• Have demonstrated experience working in a busy Credit Control environment
• Have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Be proactive and have a high attention to detail

Job Offer

The candidate can expect a starting salary c£26-29,000 + 3 days working from home + an immediate start + generous annual leave allowance + a potential for a permanent position
