We are seeking an ambitious Structural Engineer to join the Building Structures team of our client in in central Bristol, by Temple Meads. As a Structural Engineer, you will work within a talented and collaborative team of engineers and technicians, playing a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction, working on a variety of challenging projects that make a real impact on the built environment.
We are looking for an engineer who has a strong technical background, with experience in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. What You Need To Succeed
Proven experience in structural design, with knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla, Tedds, or similar.
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations.
Experience working on building projects from concept through to completion.
Ability to produce detailed calculations, technical drawings, and reports.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients.
Commitment to high-quality design and continuous professional development.
Chartered (or working towards) with IStructE or ICE.
MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
