Contract length: 3 months contract to extend

Work Hour: Mon - Fri, full time 8hrs/day

Pay Rate: £22.12/hour PAYE

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a HVAC Engineer on behalf of a well established Facilities Management company on a 3 months contract to extend.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and a comfortable environment in our managed facilities. This role involves collaborating with clients, colleagues, and contractors to deliver high-quality services while adhering to safety and operational standards.. Some other duties include;

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.

  • System Optimization: Monitor and adjust HVAC systems to optimize energy efficiency and ensure compliance with performance standards.

  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and malfunctions in HVAC systems and recommend effective solutions to restore functionality.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with local regulations, safety protocols, and company standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their HVAC needs, provide updates on maintenance schedules, and address concerns promptly.

  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside other facilities management staff to coordinate HVAC-related activities and support broader building maintenance efforts.

  • Upgrades and Installations: Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems or the upgrade of existing ones as required, and etc

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or in a similar role within facilities management.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems.

  • Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and building management systems (BMS).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
