Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking a HVAC Engineer on behalf of a well established Facilities Management company on a 3 months contract to extend.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and a comfortable environment in our managed facilities. This role involves collaborating with clients, colleagues, and contractors to deliver high-quality services while adhering to safety and operational standards.. Some other duties include;
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
System Optimization: Monitor and adjust HVAC systems to optimize energy efficiency and ensure compliance with performance standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and malfunctions in HVAC systems and recommend effective solutions to restore functionality.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all work complies with local regulations, safety protocols, and company standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their HVAC needs, provide updates on maintenance schedules, and address concerns promptly.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside other facilities management staff to coordinate HVAC-related activities and support broader building maintenance efforts.
Upgrades and Installations: Assist in the installation of new HVAC systems or the upgrade of existing ones as required, and etc
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or in a similar role within facilities management.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems.
Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and building management systems (BMS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
