Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the sourcing and procurement of materials and goods from international suppliers, ensuring optimal quality, cost, and delivery timelines
• Negotiating pricing and supplier contracts, fostering strong relationships with vendors
• Managing a high volume of Purchase Orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Overseeing the management of product samples, ensuring proper storage, organisation, and dispatching
• Monitoring critical paths to ensure timely delivery of components and goods, maintaining up-to-date shipping trackers
• Reviewing and approving packaging artwork for compliance with ingredient lists and safety standards
• Ensuring accurate data entry into customer portals to facilitate supply chain operations

About You:

• Proven experience in buying or procurement roles, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG or international sourcing environment
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
• Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Effective multitasking and time management capabilities, thriving under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge of sourcing from the Far East is highly desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to location)
