We are currently seeking a dedicated Physics Lecturer for a temporary ongoing position at our client's Further Education college in West London. The role involves teaching Physics at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC levels. The timetable is in the process of being confirmed, offering flexible working hours across four days.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Physics to students at GCSE, A Level, and BTEC levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding of Physics.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and overall academic progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- Proven teaching experience in Physics at GCSE, A Level, or BTEC levels.
- Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
