We are seeking a skilled Hairdressing and Barbering Assessor to join a fantastic department in Hayes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the hairdressing and barbering industry, with a strong desire to pass on their knowledge and skills to the next generation of professionals.

Hairdressing and Barbering Assessor

• Hourly Rate: £25 - £35 per hour
• Location: West London
• Job Type: Full-time ( Term time only )

Day-to-day of the role of a Assessor :

• Conduct assessments for hairdressing and barbering qualifications.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to learners to help them improve their skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging training sessions that meet the curriculum standards.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the industry to ensure training relevance.
• Work closely with other educators to develop and refine assessment materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications required for the role :

• To hold a recognised Assessing Qualification eg A1, CAVA, TAQA
• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing/Barbering.
• Previous experience as an assessor in hairdressing and barbering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
• Organised and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
