Transport Coordinator

Your new role
Hays Logistics are working exclusively on the recruitment of a Transport Coordinator for a market-leading global organisation. As Transport Coordinator you will be working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and responsible for the communication and administration of goods moved globally.
Key activities include:

• Assist with obtaining quotes and raising customer and purchase orders.
• Coordinate third-party equipment shipments worldwide, ensuring timely delivery to meet auction and shipping deadlines.
• Complete customs declarations and any required regulatory paperwork.
• Source new suppliers globally, ensuring routes and schedules are efficient and cost-effective.
• Communicate and update other departments on the status of loads.

What you'll need to succeed
I am looking for someone with exceptional planning and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and possess excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem-solve in pressured situations. You will have experience in a similar role and excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem-solve in pressure situations.

The successful candidate will have the ability to take instructions as well as work on your own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation, as well as the ability to report and summarise.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive salary between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum plus full company benefits package. You will be joining a global organisation that offers excellent training and development opportunities. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.
