Our well established client based in Leicester is looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their team.

Due to growth within the business they are looking for someone to cover the North, North West and East Midlands area.

Area Sales Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creating concise sales reports for the sales director
• Generating revenue by finding new business
• Managing existing accounts and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets
• Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers
• Travelling to potential and existing customer sites
• Communicating with customers to close sales, including outbound calls, emails and face to face meetings
• Planning, researching and executing potential sales opportunities to drive profitable market share growth for the business
• Reporting to the sales director

Area Sales Manager Ideal Candidate:

• Sales experience within the engineering industry and knowledge of industry and markets
• Have previous account management experience
• Strong experience in relationship building
• Self-motivated and work independently
• Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and problem solve

Area Sales Manager Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
• X2 15-minute breaks (AM + PM)
• 30 minute lunch break
• Company vehicle provided
• OTE of £250/ month if targets are met
