Assistant Accountant

I'm currently recruiting for a large technology firm based in Hull that are wanting to take on an Assistant Accountant who is currently studying their AAT. This role will be hands on, reporting directly to the Finance Director. The company are growth focused, so as the company grows, so too will responsibility and job progression.

Duties will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of the company’s annual budget
• Managing and reconciling financial records
• Verifying company expenses, deposits, and payments
• Drafting financial documents such as purchase orders and bank statements
• Reporting any inconsistencies, errors, or potential fraud to senior management
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies efficiently
• Adhering to financial regulations and company policies
