Robert Half are working directly with an market-leading, owner managed organisation based in Cumbernauld to support them in their search for a full time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team.

The company is leading in their field and dedicated to meeting the needs of the customers they support. Their product and service is unique, which over the years has positioned them as a go-to option in their respective market.

Our client is looking for a full time Purchase Ledger Assistant to support with large volumes of transactional data input. You will report into the Accounts Manager whilst working closely with the Sales Ledger Assistant and Financial Controller.

The role will consist of:

  • Bank reconciliations and downloading bank statements
  • Posting direct debits
  • Processing cheques
  • Handling payment runs and checking invoices
  • Dealing with general admin tasks
  • Handling the flow of incoming emails

Experience required:

  • Previous experience working within a finance function.
  • Experience of using excel
  • Experience working with high volume of processing data

This will be an office-based role based in the company HQ in Cumbernauld. Salary will be between £23,000 - £25,000 plus benefits.
