Fabricator / Welder

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Fabricator/ Welder to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in South Aberdeen.

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday (40 hours)

Salary: £38K – £42K with 1.5x overtime

Daily Duties –

• Carry out TIG, ARC, and MIG welding and fabrication repairs on stainless steel equipment
• Maintenance and repairs including metal forming/bending, drilling and tapping, cutting and grinding
• Create fabrication drawings, including solutions or improvements to equipment
• Ensure all repairs and improvement projects are completed and reported to Supervisor
• Assist with routine PPM when assigned and take part in reactive work as part of the wider engineering team (training will be provided)
• Keep steel stores / consumables stocked and replenished

Candidate Requirements –

• Time-served with experience carrying out TIG, MIG or ARC welding techniques
• Experience carrying out welding/fabrication repairing to stainless steel equipment
• Ideally from a FMCG, agricultural or food production environment
