Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 PLUS 25 Days Holiday, Private Pension, Vendor Certifications, Hybrid Working, International Travel

Position Overview:
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s global IT infrastructure. You will work across a wide variety of projects, improve current infrastructure, manage security protocols, and guide teams on best practices. This role is key to ensuring the infrastructure supports future business needs, optimizes user experience, and aligns with the company’s sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the global on-premise and cloud infrastructures, including Azure, M365, and more.
• Lead the ongoing global migration from on-premise IT systems to cloud environments.
• Develop and manage infrastructure projects to support business growth and sustainability initiatives.
• Respond to and resolve 2nd/3rd line support requests, providing mentoring and technical expertise.
• Develop and document infrastructure processes, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure robust backup strategies are in place and regularly tested to ensure data recovery is seamless.

Essential Skills:

• Experience managing and supporting a variety of Microsoft technologies, including M365, Azure AD, Defender ATP, OneDrive, and EndPoint Manager.
• In-depth understanding of Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Experience with VMWare, vCentre, and ESXi.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including IP, WAN, LAN, and Wifi.
• Expertise in storage solutions like SAN, NAS, and backup technologies (Druva Cloud, Veritas Backup Exec, Veeam Backup).
• Familiarity with IT security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, and secure access protocols.
• Ability to manage cloud environments and automation tools.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with NetApp storage solutions.
• Knowledge of Zabbix, SolarWinds, and Patch Management tools.
• Experience with IIS, .NET, SSL-VPN, and token authentication.
