Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Wigan:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils at a lovely school near to Wigan, from January. This is a full time position and will run until July.

The Role:

• Preparing learning resources and activities
• Supporting children 1-1 and in small groups
• Communicating with the parents and staff regarding progress

Position Details:

• Location: Wigan
• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 8:15am-3pm
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Start date: Jan 2025
• End date: July 2025

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
