Laboratory Sampler

Temporary position

Full time hours

This is a 12-week temporary opportunity which will include travelling to various sites in East Anglia to collect water samples, carrying out some onsite testing and then transporting and storing samples ready for the analytical teams to conduct further testing. Candidates must have a full UK driving licence, as well as a current DBS check.

Duties of the role include:

• Sampling, transportation and storage of water samples
• Reporting, data validation and maintaining quality records
• Customer Service – to both internal and external customers
• Additional duties including supporting with audits, machine calibration and managing consumables and reagents

Skills/Experience required:

• Minimum of an HNC in a Chemistry related field
• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment
• Previous experience collecting and analysing samples
• Excellent customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS cleared
