Manchester (office based)

£45-60k depending on experience

Dynamic and innovative scientific business based in Manchester, dedicated to advancing scientific research and development are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team.

This is an exciting, hands-on new position that offers the opportunity to work closely with our UK Managing Director and collaborate with our US and European entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• VAT returns, tax, and statutory reporting.
• Implement and optimise financial systems and processes.
• Xero accounting software and assist in the transition to MS Dynamics.
• Liaison and main point of contact for external auditors

Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant experience working for a US-owned business.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and UK Tax regulations
• Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience with relevant experience
• Strong systems skills including Xero and MS Dynamics would be advantageous
• Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
