Management Accountant

About the Business

An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for a service business based in Birmingham. The business operates across the country, that’s fast paced and rapidly growing.

Main Duties:

As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:

• Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements
• Calculation of accruals, prepayments, and deferred Income
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Journal postings
• Variance analysis
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Analysis of income against costs
• Cash flow management
• Quarterly Management Accounts preparation on behalf of external clients

Location / Office / Culture

The role is based in Birmingham and has a minimum of two days a week in the office. The company operates from a modern office with a strong Finance Team of circa 30.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in management accounting
• Good IT skills, most notably Excel
• Enthusiasm to learn
