Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 4-day working week Monday to Thursday - Mon to Wed 14:15 - 00:30 and Thurs 14:15 - 23:30

Location: Ramsgate

Are you an experienced Machine Grinder with expertise in cylindrical, surface, internal, and planetary grinding?

We have an exciting full-time opportunity in Ramsgate for a Machine Grinder to work with our valued client—a global leader in electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing machines for grinding operations.
• Grinding, deburring, and polishing workpieces to achieve precise shapes and dimensions.
• Mounting and dismounting workpieces on the grinding machine.
• Inspecting finished pieces to ensure they meet specifications.
• Dressing grinding wheels as required.
• Reporting any machine defects or malfunctions.
• Performing maintenance on machines and cutting tools.
• Supporting additional duties as needed.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Grinder.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
